Our Meetings
Every two months, our representatives meet to discuss internal management issues, policies and budget matters. This helps keep us up to date with important issues and enables us to manage our resources effectively.
On the third Friday of every month MHAG reps hold an informal Coffee Slot which anyone can drop into. We have tea, coffee, bingo, and a chat. Contact us for details.
Every second Wednesday of the month MHAG holds a meeting open to anyone with an interest in mental health, including service users, carers, professionals and agencies. These rotate around Ripley, Ilkeston, Derby and Swadlincote. Tea, coffee and cakes are provided!
Meetings are chaired by a local rep and everyone gets to have a say. We often invite guests from various mental health organisations to talk to the group about important current issues and answer questions and concerns.
